It has been the first specialised club for St. Bernard in Germany. The Club looks after his members in 12 section groups and 6 times a year the publish a self-created brochure and a breeding book. The target of the Club is the demand and improvement for breeding. They are a member of the "Verband für das deutsche Hundewesen (VDH)"., the Federation Cynologique International (FCI) and the World Union of St. Bernard Clubs (WUSB).
