Some facts about ourselves: Heinz Kalscheuer; Section leader of the section Nordrhein - Westfalen. Profession: officer in a fire-brigade (the name "von St. Florian" is resultant from this). Erika Kalscheuer: Since 1991 special breed judge for St. Bernard. 1st breed controller of the section Nordrhein - Westfalen. In 1977 we got our first St. Bernard from Switzerland, "Zitta v. Säuliamt". In 1978 we've become members of the St. Bernard Club and in 1979 we've founded our kennel "von St. Florian" with our first breed. From this breed we kept the dog "Antje von St. Florian" which became World Junior Champion in 1981. To get a better breed, especially in the regard of HD, we bought two new dogs from the kennel "vom Bruder Klaus", Sandra and Sonja. With these dogs we've created a new breeding. All our dogs now trace back to "Sandra vom Bruder Klaus". We had our greatest success with "Riccardo von St. Florian". This dog wan all national titles and the International Championship. He has a lot of descendants at home and abroad. At the moment we have 4 dogs in our kennel (2 male and 2 female dogs). We've had our 23rd litter(W) in November 1999. |
